Discernment Retreats
Do you ever wonder about the meaning or direction of your life? Most often these moments pass us by quickly, but sometimes we see them as invitations from the Holy Spirit to be part of something new. We rarely know where these moments will lead if we follow them, but the One who spoke the words, “Come, follow me”, promises to be present with us if we say yes to the invitation.
If you think life as an Oblate priest or brother might be for you we offer a number of retreat weekends throughout the year across Canada. You may have been thinking about religious life or the priesthood for some time, or it may be a brand new idea. These weekends are an opportunity to carefully and prayerfully explore the call to religious life. It is also a chance to talk to others who are facing the same choices in their life.
Each weekend will begin on the Friday evening around 7:00 PM and finish on the Sunday by 1:00 PM. Accommodation and food are provided. There is no charge for the retreat.
